Four years ago, for the 2010 World Cup, I did a series of the
50 greatest world cup matches of all time. Obviously, this list has now grown, in my view, to 53, so here are the three matches I have decided to include in the list, and will be writing each week for the next three weeks:

- Germany-Spain, 2010
- Spain-Netherlands, 2010
